Mail on Sunday Men's Tournament Saturday 28th January
The first match of the season of the Mail on Sunday Tournament was held last Saturday at Henlle against Vale of Llangollen Golf Club. A fantastic result as our Henlle Team won 5-0, the team included Gary Simmons, Ali Wright, Tony Davies, Dave Hughes and Rae Jones and Andrew Eaton team Captain

Joint Club Captain’s Drive-in was held on Saturday 7th January 2012, with many of their fellow members turning out to celebrate the arrival of their new 2012 Captains. Club Captain Peter Kanes, Lady Captain Sara Meehan. In the shot gun start individual Stableford that followed there were some very close scores, however winning on count back with 40 pts was Gary Simmons, winning the ladies comp with 35pts was Diane Edwards.

  

The presentation followed the competition. The day was a great success and with a raffle, nearest the pin comps, and guest the distance of the Captains Drives a total of £570.00 was raised for the Captain’s chosen charity Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
