Pictured above Huw Roberts Head Green Keeper at Henlle Park, with the new Ransomes Green Plex Greens Machine, which we have recently puchased locally from John Osmans Groundcare in Oswestry. The new machine has the latest technology, fitted with Turf Groomers and 11 cutting blades per barrel, resulting in a much finer cut to the Greens.
Course Improvements 2009
Despite a generally wet summer, 2009 has been a busy year at Henlle Park, we have made several improvements to the course, and practice area. Listed below are just some of the improvements we have successfully completed.
We hope to continue to delvelop and enhance the course more next year.
We have already planned to move the old 9th Green to create a new Putting Green, we also intend to improve some Tees, create more bunkers, and also build a Nursery Green, So 2010 is set to be another busy and exciting year.......
1. Improvements to the Greens
2. Opening of the new 9th Green, and Bunker.
3. A new entrance and extension, as well as more lighting to the main Car Park
4. Improved drainage across 15th & 17th, and 3rd Fairways.
5. Improvements to the Ladies Tees.
6. New footpath between 10th & 11th Tees.
7. New Artifical mat put in play on the 1st Tee.
8. Improved practice facilities, including new flagpoles, construction of a practice bunker.
9. New 150 yard marker posts.

Henlle Park Up to Scratch........
Scratch League County Championship Final
Pictured below from left George Hughes, Mark Evans, Pete Grimley and Sam Litchfield won the 36 Hole final of the Divison 2 Country Scratch League beating Ludlow 5 games to 3 overall .
Henlle won 4/ 0 in the morning and Ludllow won 3/1 in the afternoon at Patshull Park on Saturday 5th September.Team organizer Andrew Eaton and everyone at Henlle Park are extremely proud of the boys.
